ABOUT AIRMID WELLNESS
We don’t heal in isolation.
We heal in relationship. With our bodies, our stories, each other, and the parts of ourselves we've learned to protect or ignore.
Hey, I’m Meg.
Airmid Wellness was created from the belief that true wellness isn't the absence of struggle, but the capacity to become more fully alive. In Irish mythology, Airmid represents healing, renewal, and a deep understanding of the human body.
What drew me to her story wasn't the promise of fixing what was broken, but the reminder that our most difficult experiences can become our greatest source of wisdom and growth. That philosophy is woven into everything I do.
Before this work became something I offered, it was something I needed.
My life has asked me to reinvent myself more than once. Motherhood, building businesses, moving across the country, navigating loss, and finding my footing in seasons of change have each stretched my capacity, revealed patterns I didn't know I was carrying, and taught me that some lessons can only be learned by living them.
For more than twenty years, I've explored the intersection of holistic health, nutrition, movement, human behavior, and the nervous system. My path has moved through entrepreneurship, fitness and nutrition coaching, counseling, and somatic work, but the thread running through it all has remained remarkably consistent: I've always been drawn to the deeper questions of what shapes how we live, relate, and experience ourselves—and what our everyday patterns reveal about the nervous systems, relationships, and histories beneath them.
That curiosity eventually led me to my first Somatic Experiencing® session, which fundamentally changed how I understood myself. For the first time, I wasn't trying to think my way through my experience or override my body’s signals in pursuit of productivity. I began to discover how lasting change happens through the body, in relationship, and through having new experiences that challenged what I thought was possible.
Today, I hold a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in military and veteran populations. As a veteran spouse, this work is personal as much as it is professional. I've built a life and a family alongside that transition, and I understand its ripple effects up close. Through Airmid Wellness, I work with individuals and couples outside the clinical setting, integrating nervous system science, somatic practice, nutritional wellness, relational work, and the complexity of being human.
At the heart of my work is a simple belief: most of the struggles people carry are the body's way of making sense of hard things: loss, chronic stress, needs that went unmet for too long. They're not signs of brokenness or personal failure. Anxiety, shutdown, hypervigilance, people-pleasing, numbness—these are patterns your body and mind learned, often for very good reasons, at a time when they helped you get through something difficult. Although these patterns made sense once, when they no longer fit the life we're living, we have the opportunity to create something new.
The goal isn't to eliminate discomfort or become someone else. It's to build the capacity to stay connected to yourself and the people you love, even when life gets hard. Growth isn't something we figure out. It's something we practice.
That's the work I'm most passionate about now: walking alongside people through life's biggest transitions and the hardest seasons in their relationships, reflecting what's true instead of what's comfortable, and helping them gently reshape the stories they carry about themselves and what's possible.
The moment I live for in this work is hearing a client say, “I feel more alive.”
Not fixed. Not different. Alive. Present enough to fully participate in their own life, their relationships, and their growth.
I'm so glad our paths have crossed.

A little more about me…
-
My family and I have a bit of an adventurous streak… We've called six different states home, built a few businesses, and eventually landed on the South Carolina coast. Every move and every new chapter has shaped me in ways I never could have planned, teaching me about people, resilience, and what it means to begin again.
-
As a kid, my dream job was to be a librarian. I have an endless appetite for understanding people, ideas, and the world around me. Give me a good book or an unexpected rabbit hole, and I'm in. Turns out that curiosity eventually became the foundation of my work.
-
I love cooking, sharing meals, and the way a kitchen pulls people together. Food is medicine, and nourishment is as much about connection as it is about nutrition. Feeding people, myself included, is one of my favorite love languages.
-
Growing up on Lake Champlain, I've always felt most like myself near the water. Give me a bonfire, crisp fall air, fresh snow, and the quiet rhythm of a northern winter, and I'm home. Looking back, it was probably my first lesson in regulation, long before I had the vocabulary for it.
-
Whether it's astrology, Human Design, or just my personality doing the talking, I have a habit of noticing what's easy to miss. The unspoken has always felt like my first language, which probably explains why I've never been very good at staying in the shallow end of a conversation.
This is how lasting change actually unfolds.
The Approach
Curiosity over assumption.
We get curious about what you've lived through and what it took to get through it — not to focus on the problem, but to expand what's possible.
Capacity over pressure.
Willpower can only take you so far. Real change comes from building enough awareness and capacity that you don’t have to reach for old protective patterns anymore.
Connection over correction.
This work isn't about becoming someone new. It's about becoming more deeply connected to who you already are.
